Dimitris Koutsoumpas is an undergraduate student at the School of Architectural Engineering at the Technical University of Crete. During his studies he was an Erasmus student at Università IUAV di Venezia, Facoltà di Architettura in Venice, Italy. His research interests are in the area of adaptive architecture and how it can work as a tool to redefine public space through theoretical research and design. Furthermore, he has participated in several workshops regarding the design of public space as a platform of contradistinction through experiential methods. His work at the TIE lab has been presented at the EIA ’14 conference in Nice.
